Without That First Step: Creating Change One Choice at a Time

That little voice that says, "What's the point? You know you won't stick to it..." We all hear it.
But here's what I've learned:
Making the right choice TODAY isn't about forever promises.

It's about doing what you know is right and good for you today.

If you make the right food choices today, it nourishes you today and will make you feel good about your choices today. If you take that walk, you've chosen to do something good for yourself today. That will give you the strength to make a better choice tomorrow.

When Rabbi Akiva saw the impression the water made on the rock, what he realized was not only what consistency does over time, but that even though the first drop of water did not look like it did anything, without that first drop, even the 500th drop would ultimately have had no effect.

So instead of sabotaging today's right choices because of tomorrow, realize that every right choice strengthens the next one.
